What is the content of the webinar?

The webinar briefly and concisely reviews the provisions of the Annual Leave Act on the granting and transfer of annual leave. The webinar answers the following questions, among others:

  • To what extent are the provisions of the Annual Leave Act a mandatory right?
  • When should annual leave be given to an employee?
  • To what extent can annual leave be agreed with the employee?
  • What happens to annual leave when an employee is incapacitated for work?
  • When can an employer commit a breach of annual leave under the Annual Leave Act?

What do you learn from the webinar?

After the webinar, you will know when annual leave should be given to the employee, what are the employee’s rights with respect to annual leave, and to what extent annual leave can be agreed with each employee.

The webinar is designed for business leaders, supervisors, and HR professionals regardless of the person’s role and the company’s industry.

Who will be the webinar lecturer?

The webinar will be lectured by Toni Haapasalo, a lawyer at Iconics, who has more than seven years of experience in employment-related legal advice from the public sector, an employee association and two law firms specializing in business law. Toni assists employers extensively in all employment law matters.
