What is the content of the webinar?

The free webinar will briefly review what will change as a result of the change of the act concerning non-compete agreements, and on what timeline. The webinar answers the following questions, among others:

  • How is the prohibition of competition regulated in the Employment Contracts Act from 1 January 2022?
  • What is considered as a competing activity?
  • What factors are taken into account in the assessment of a particularly compelling reason?
  • What is the content of the obligation to reimburse based on the non-compete clause?
  • Is it possible to terminate the non-compete agreement?
  • How should an employer deal with non-compete agreements entered into during next year?

The webinar is especially suitable for business leaders, supervisors, and HR professionals, regardless of a person’s role and industry.

 

Who works as a webinar trainer?

The trainer is Toni Haapasalo, a lawyer at Iconics, who has more than eight years of experience in employment-related legal advice from the public sector, an employee association and two different law firms. Toni provides extensive assistance to employers in all matters of employment law, including the assessment and conclusion of non-compete agreements.
