What is the content of the webinar?
The webinar briefly reviews the general characteristics of a business transfer, what happens to the terms and conditions of employment of employees who transfer in a business transfer in business transfer situations, and what co-operation obligations are involved. The webinar answers the following questions, among others:
- When is it likely to be a transfer of a business?
- What happens to the terms and conditions of employment of migrant workers in connection with the transfer of a business?
- If only part of the business is transferred, how will it be decided which employees will be transferred to the transferee?
- At what stage should the transfer of the business meet any co-operation obligations, and with whom?
What do you learn from the webinar?
After the webinar, you will know when it might be a transfer of the shop and what it would mean in practice, ie who should be transferred to the transferee and under what conditions, as well as what possible co-operation obligations would be involved.

The webinar is designed for business leaders, supervisors, and HR professionals regardless of the person’s role and the company’s industry.
Who will be the webinar lecturer?
The webinar will be lectured by Toni Haapasalo, a lawyer at Iconics, who has more than eight years of experience in employment-related legal advice from the public sector, an employee association and two law firms specializing in business law. Toni assists employers extensively in all employment law matters.
